BEAUTEQUE MASK MAVEN BAG | NOVEMBER
I'm finally back from my break to talk about one of my most used beauty products; face masks. I am no stranger to Asian beauty products. I've tested out more strange ampoules, essences and gels than I care to admit. One of my favourite things I've found while on this journey has been sheet masks. They have ruined American face masks for me. I can't help but scoff when I see the sheet masks at Sephora selling for $6 a pop, when you can get high quality ones for only $2 from a Korean brand. It's amazing to me just how many of our beauty trends come from the Asian beauty market. That all being said, I couldn't pass up a subscription bag based around Asian beauty products.
Beauteque offers two types of bags; BB Bag which is filled with 6-8 full sized makeup, skincare and other products for $24 per month or the Mask Maven bag which features 9 to 11 sheet and wash off masks with a variety of purposes for $15. They ship all over the world so shipping costs will vary based on your country. These are meant to ship out the second week of each month, but they experienced some problems this previous month so I didn't receive the November bag until the end of the month. You have until the 15th of each month to subscribe in order to receive that month's bag, so if you're interested in getting December's the time is now! Through the month of December you can get 15% off with the code HOLIDAY15 for the month-to-month subscription.
Every month the bag has a new theme. November's theme was fresh produce. Each mask in the bag retails for around $2 but not all masks included are available from Beauteque's website so the estimated cost would be around $18 without shipping. I have seen more expensive masks in previous bags as well. Overall, I really like this bag. It allows me to try a lot of masks I wouldn't otherwise and at a good price. I think anyone who hasn't tried Asian sheet masks before would absolutely love this but would also be good for a sheet mask lover. I can't delve into the ingredients of each mask because none of it is in English, but I find all masks to be highly moisturizing and give a certain radiance to the skin.
